"I would like to express a very big thank Fresh & Funky for the service they provided. The food it self was exquisite, cooked to the right consultancy with various savoury ingredients in certain dishes, there was something for everyone as for the desserts they were definitely naughty but nice. The layout & presentation of the food was beautifully arranged, the special touches with the fresh flowers on the platters with the canapés just made the appearance & food even more appealing. As for the chef & waiting staff, they could not have been more accommodating from preparing the selected areas to waiting on the guests, all done with such professionalism. Throughout the evening there were numerous compliments from various guests with regards to the catering & service, they were very impressed. "Fresh N Funky provided the catering and drinks service for my 40th birthday party and it was a great success, my friends are still talking about it nearly 2 months on. I found the company to be highly professional with a great interest in what I was trying to achieve with the party. They listened attentively and made some great suggestions of how we could achieve a fun, high standard party. The suggestion of having barbecue red snapper is a great example of this, my guests were raving about it. Head chef Gos was fully engaged from when I first contacted him, regular emails and telephones calls in the planning stage culminated in a tasting session in my own kitchen - what a service. On the day he set up with minimal fuss, I was able to get on and talk with my guests while he did his 'thing'. He was flexible when we delayed the canapes for an hour and his assistance, Lisa, was very professional. She expertly navigated my 40 guests and kept their glasses filled, I don't know how she managed it! The quality of food was exceptional, the mini burgers and salmon boats a particular favourite. The presentation and service was exceptional, my guests were well looked after and I now fear that I have a standard of party that I will struggle to replicate. The overall cost for the service was excellent compared to a number of similar companies. What made the difference for me was the passion and engaging manner of Gos, his quality of food - Gos was as much a part of the party as the guests. I was also impressed when we had finished, they cleaned and packed up with minimal fuss, my kitchen was sparkling.
